Recruiting requirements:
We are recruiting a developmental neuroscience postdoctoral fellow experienced with Drosophila molecular biology. The successful candidate must have mastered basic techniques in plasmid construction, RNA-Seq/qPCR, protein purification and Western blots in Drosophila. Recommended but not required cell experience includes IHC fluorescence confocal microscopy, electron microscopy and/or electrophysiology. Dr. Kendal S. Broadie, Stevenson Professor of Neurobiology at Vanderbilt University. He finished his PhD and Postdoc training at University of Cambridge, U.K. In 2002, he joined Vanderbilt University.
